More Potential Regulatory Headaches: NY-SEC Looking At the Use of Collection Agents by Mortgage Servicers

The New York regional office of the Securities and Exchange Commission has opened up a preliminary investigation into the use of “collection agents” by mortgage servicers, including Ocwen Financial.
