Massachusetts Attorney General Martha Coakley sued five major lenders late last week for allegedly illegal foreclosure practices. One of the firms, GMAC Mortgage, responded by pulling out of Massachusetts lending, prompting Coakley to request a Congressional investigation of GMAC.
