Low Volume Still Hinders Non-Agency Securitization

Officials at Redwood Trust, the real estate investment trust that made headlines last year by sponsoring the first non-agency securitization of newly originated mortgages since the financial crisis began in 2008, have a favorable outlook on the residential market yet the biggest challenge right now remains the low volume of production.
