Senate Sends HUD FY06 Budget to Conference, Nixes Zero-Down Plan

The U.S. Senate overwhelmingly approved a fiscal year 2006 budget for the Department of Housing and Urban Development and rejected a Bush administration proposal for a zero-downpayment program to boost FHA business.
